All fittings shall be ductile iron and conform to the requirements of AWWA C110 or C153. All buried ductile iron fittings shall be mechanical joint. All ductile iron fittings shall be epoxy coated and lined by the manufacturer. All rubber gasket joints for ductile iron fittings shall conform to the requirements of AWWA C111. All hardware shall be coated in a baked-on ceramic-filled fluorocarbon resin. All fitting joints shall be fully restrained per Section 3.13.
