Washington Gorge Action Programs (WGAP)

No one should be forced to choose between paying for food and paying for heat during the cold winter months. If you or someone you know is having trouble paying their utility bills, WGAP can help. Home Energy Assistance is available to low-income families, persons of disabilities, persons of seniority on low and fixed incomes, and residents that are in danger of losing their heat source. Assistance can be provided for almost any heating source, including electricity, natural gas, propane, and wood. WGAP also provides Weatherization services. Persons of Seniority and Persons of Disabilities Rebate

Low income persons of seniority or persons of disabilities may qualify for a special discount on their winter electric bills. For more information see the 2022-2023 Senior Rebate Form.

Operation Warm Heart

The Skamania PUD sponsors and supports Operation Warm Heart of Skamania County, administered by WGAP. One hundred percent of the money received goes to help the needy. Please contribute if you can, it’s a good cause. WA Gorge Action Programs phone number is 800-755-1192 or 509-427-8229.

If you would like to donate to Operation Warm Heart as a recurring contribution please fill out this form and either mail it back or drop it off at the PUD office. We are now able to offer many options for those wishing to donate on a regular basis. One-time donations are also welcome.
